My sister works in a clothes shop in a large shopping mall near where we live and she spends a lot of her time at the tills. Although she enjoys working in the shop, she says that a lot of it is really hard work. Standing on her feet all day she finds particularly difficult and she is always absolutely shattered at the end of the day. One of the things she finds very difficult is getting the Security Tags of the clothes that people buy. When she is on the till this forms a large part of her job and she sometimes finds the Security Tags really difficult to remove. The other day somebody bought a lot of clothing and my sister forgot to take off any of the Security Tags. The girl paid for all of her purchases but when she tried to leave the shop the alarms began and she was pounced upon by the security guards. When it became apparent that it was the fault of my sister, the customer was apologised to profusely and she left without too much damage done. However, my sister was absolutely mortified at her oversight and was really worried that she would get a good telling off by her superiors. However, they were really nice to her and said that such a mistake could have happened to anyone. As she told me, that is one of the great parts of her job, the people she works with are really nice and easy to get on with and that makes up for any amount of tired feet at the end of the day.
